Cabra Castle

A sample of Cabra Castle wedding photos from a magical winter wedding at a breathtaking location in Cavan, Ireland.

More About Cabra Castle

Cabra Castle sits in Kingscourt, County Cavan, Ireland. Benny’s grandmother Lizzy says she is a Cavan women but she sounds like a Dub through and through. An hours spin to Dublin Cabra Castle is well accessible by many be them from Meath, Kildare or the surrounding counties.

Cabra Castle has fantastic grounds for Wedding Photography. Once hosting a golf course, the fields are pristine with grand trees. The largest of Trees faces the Castle is now fitted with chandeliers. Making a great evening shot for wedding albums.

Adjacent to Castle is a court yard garden that suit under the balcony reception area. The garden walled it grand pillars provide a frame for lovely bridal photographs.

The external stairs to the Banqueting room are hard to rival. The Spanish Steps in Rome are run close for grandeur particularly when the red carpet is rolled out. If you are lucky, Oscar III the Irish wolfhound will welcome you with hollowing that does rival the bagpipe march to the top of the stairs to your drinks reception.

The interior stairs provide an iconic photograph, no better place to lay out the Bride’s dress. Several of traditional rooms leave you spoiled for choice for interior photographs, a great back up Irish weather.

Cabra Castle has a newly renovated banqueting room that is capable of catering for small and large weddings. The wedding cake is given prime location for the cutting of the cake, with a castle sword to boot.
