The McGillicuddy family have and wealth of experience and Padraig is a true gent leading by example. Setting a tone for excellent service and customer experience. Thys Vogels, when you meet Thys you meet Thys, all business, all organisation, on it, your band will be starting at 21 30 hours. Harry is fast becoming a wedding maestro. The effort and care Harry puts in to the operations of the full wedding day is second to none. Genuinely Ballygarry have some operational traits and approaches that you simple do not see anywhere else. No matter what part of the team steps in to make parts of your wedding day work, they are well capable.
Food
Good people, good music, good food equals a great wedding. Ballygarry’s food is excellent, I really would not say unless i meant it. Bar food can be hit or miss in the average Irish Hotel, rarely is the food as bang on as in Ballygarry. On occasion we end up eating the course your guest are privy to and we can attest to the quality and tastiness of each type of course.
The Lodge
Purpose built to host wedding ceremonies, The Lodge is a barn style building facing the grounds and beyound to the Tralee landscape of rolling fields, nature and mountains. The large window lights the space and provides natural views worthy of outdoor ceremonies. Barn style wooden doors roll open for your ceremony and closed to act as a perfect backdrop for your family photographs.
The Pavilion
A dedicated drinks reception area, whether it is a sneaky drink before the Ceremony as Guest arrive or the official Drinks Reception post Ceremony, the pavilion room is long enough to host all your guests, whether they spill into the garden or warm with a cup of tea. And a private space away from the hustle and bustle of the main hotel. For those looking for a more causal approach to speeches, the Pavilion is a good option address the crowd in a less formal environment.
Gardens
The water fountain acts as a focal point for the well kept garden perfect for a summers drinks reception. you would be surprise how many weddings in Ireland end up outdoors! Ballygarry has added some fun to the garden with a giant chair, some lad always tries to get up on it. A small aesthetic bridge leads to a private shrubbed in lawn, that leads to expansive fields.
Banqueting Room
The Monarch Suite is perfect and has everything you need for banqueting and then has a full length lounge bar recessed in to the side of the main area (the Greeks recess for statues, the Celts recess for pubs). It acts as a great fall back area after dining when the dancefloor is cleared.
Cake Stage
Some might call it a stage, and the bands might say it is their stage, but during your wedding day, this is a Cake Stage! Great for displaying the fantastic creation you choose for your big day. And excellent for the official cutting.
