We are wedding photographers Cork based in Cobh on the south coast of Ireland. Nicely positioned to cover Cork’s wedding photography both in East Cork and West Cork. A 40 minute drive to Youghal, Fermoy, Kinsale or Macroom. We are ideally located to travel to and from your wedding locations throughout Cork. Fit and ready for 10+ hours of photographing your wedding day in Cork. Additionally, a brief 20 minute spin to Cork City allows us to photograph weddings at a cluster of the top city hotels and wedding ceremony venues at ease.
As the legendary Wedding year that was 2022 comes to a close. It is great to look at what is coming in 2023. Laura and Benny will photograph at 45 different Wedding Venues throughout Ireland in 2023. Of which 38 wedding venues will be in Munster, with 23 different Cork locations being visited.
The most frequently visited venues located in Cork for 2023 will be the likes of: Maryborough Hotel (Douglas), Cork’s Vienna Woods (Glanmire), Garryvoe Hotel (Ballycotton), Kinsale Hotel (Kinsale), Dunmore House Hotel (Inchydoney) & Radisson Blu (Little Island). As Wedding Photographers Cork, Laura and Benny photograph throughout the county and will also be at: Fota Island Resort (Carrigtwohill), Hayfield Manor (Cork), Castlemarthyr Resort (Castlemarthyr), Springfort Hall Hotel (Mallow), Fernhill House Hotel (Clonakilty), Ballinacurra House (Kinsale) and many more familiar names.

As per our packages we visit all wedding locations prior to your wedding day. This not only allows us to begin the creative process of photographing your wedding day but this reduces unforeseen issues that get thrown our way. Being Wedding Photographers Cork, man made obstacles change as regularly as the Irish weather (4 season a day like!). Dealing with those challenges are all part and parcel of being a professional photographer. We do everything possible to make your day run as smooth as possible.
Wedding Photographers Munster
While we tend to photograph weddings primarily in Cork (Laura’s city of birth), travelling further abreast in Kerry and Waterford is quite common. Limerick and Tipperary in the north of Munster offer great venues. The long drive to Clare tucked in a corner of the mid west of Ireland, likewise offers spectacular wedding photography. Check out the array of Wedding Photography from Munster.
Of the Munster Wedding venues, Laura and Benny as Wedding Photographers Kerry will be photographing at 10 Kerry Wedding venues in 2023, including: Great Southern Killarney, Muckross Park Hotel, Ballygarry House, The Dunloe Hotel, Brehon Hotel, Killarney Oaks Hotel and many more.
Wedding Photographers Kerry are spoiled for choice. In Killarney alone with a small radius you have Ross Castle, Muckross House, the Abbey, Torc Waterfall, the many scenic lake openings on the Ring of Kerry and not to forget Killarney’s streets and traditional pubs. Kerry is vast and wide, Kenmare to Sneem to Dingle to Tralee it is genuinely the Kingdom of Ireland’s beautiful landscape. Ideal for wedding celebrations and Wedding Photography.
Cork and Kerry are dominant in Munster for venue choices but Laura and Benny do photograph weddings throughout Munster. Here is a taste of the some other venues in Munster: Waterford Castle (Waterford), Kilshane House (Tipperary), Cashel Palace (Tipperary), Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel (Limerick), Castletroy Hotel (Limerick), Dunraven Arms (Limerick), and Castle Oaks House (Limerick).

As Wedding Photographers Dublin we service Meath, Kildare, Wicklow in addition to the many surrounding areas.

Most of the Weddings Shows are back in 2023 with some Shows returning in 2024.
Wedding Shows are one of the best ways to immerse yourselves in the world of Wedding planning. You could literally organise an entire Wedding at a large showcase. The fairs have exhibitors from officiants to bands to cake and of course photographers. Whether you want to book the lot or just get some ideas it is recommend attending.
Ireland has great wedding shows and Laura and Benny Photography have stands at 3 of the best shows, when possible. The great thing about shows are that you get to meet your wedding suppliers in person. Vendors matching in many aspects of the products and services provided is down to personality matching. Wedding Photographers will spend the entire day with you at your wedding. As well as finding a photographer who’s style you like, who produces excellent quality photos and much more. It is so important that you like your photographers approach and personality. Your Wedding Photographer will be in your presence a lot. Meeting them at a trade show can help you weigh up that crucial decision.
Here is details of the wedding shows that Laura and Benny Photography exhibit at (when there is not a clash of dates). We do really enjoy meeting so many couples at the shows so do stop by and say hello. If you met us at a show and have any further questions do contact us.
2022 saw the return of some of the larger wedding shows. Laura and Benny have decide not to attend shows for the foreseeable future but watch out because we do love them and do not envision staying away for too long.
Wedfest, Páirc Uí Chaoimh
Munster Wedding Expo was taken by COVID but Páirc Uí Chaoimh reins supreme with the launch of WedFest. The inaugural show went down a storm in September 2023. The next WedFest is in January 2024, Sunday 14th.
Páirc Uí Chaoimh is Cork’s premier conference centre. The open plan of the middle level new re-developed stadium is perfect for large trade shows. Wedding couples can free walk around the concourse and approach stands of exhibitors at their leisure. The Wedfest has over 100 exhibitors and a dedicated catwalk area for fashion shows and entertainment. The Exhibition is of course oriented towards those having weddings in Cork, Kerry and all the 6 counties in Munster. Many Exhibitors do cover through Ireland so it is well worth asking evening if your wedding is not in Munster.
Wedding Journal Show, The Convention Centre Dublin
The Wedding Journal Show is now hosted at The Convention Centre Dublin. The next show will take place January 13th and 14th, 2024. Laura and Benny do not plan to be at the show but highly recommend the show to Wedding Couples.
Dublin being the Capital City attracts fierce competition for both Wedding Shows and Wedding Photographers. That said the Wedding Journal Show brings a grand entrance to a huge exhibit hall with countless suppliers, big screens, large catwalk, cars and buses inside. Being in the entre of Dublin The Convention Centre is accessible. It therefore attracts crowds from throughout the Ireland.
The variety of Wedding Photographers at the Wedding Journal Show covers everyone’s tastes. If you can narrow down photographers to a finished product you like you should be able to find a personality that clicks with you.
Bride of the Year Show, RDS
The RDS Wedding Show takes place in Ballsbridge Dublin at the RDS. The next show will take place January 2024, 27th & 28th. Laura and Benny will not be present but recommend all couples to attend.
The Royal Dublin Society is Ireland’s premier location for fairs and as such attracts the best exhibitors. Dublin’s population of 1.3 million includes people from throughout Ireland, who get married all over Ireland. Getting married in Wedding Couples home Counties or at destination locations. So the Wedding and Honeymoon Show or The Bride of the year Show, no matter where you are from or where you are getting married is a great show to find your Wedding Photographer.
