Wedding Photographers in Cork
Laura and Benny Photography are wedding photographers Cork based in Cobh on the south coast of Ireland. Nicely positioned to cover Cork’s wedding photography both in East Cork and West Cork. A 40 minute drive to Youghal, Fermoy, Kinsale or Macroom. We are ideally located to travel to and from your wedding locations throughout Cork. Fit and ready for 10+ hours of photographing your wedding day in Cork. Additionally, a brief 20 minute spin to Cork City allows us to photograph weddings at a cluster of the top city hotels and wedding ceremony venues at ease.
2025 is drawing to a close. Couples are firming planning for 2027 (half the dates are taken) & 2028 (there are two bookings in there!) No one in the wedding industry expected the last few years to match up to 2022. I can tell you 2026 and beyound is absolute proof that Irish people love weddings! We ease into the season during the first few months of the year and then it is full steam ahead once late Spring arrives.
2026 will see Laura and Benny photograph at 29 different venues throughout Ireland. a testament to the variety of choice in Ireland, we will be visiting 3 new venues over the year. 26 of those venues will be in Munster. With 15 different Cork Wedding Venues be photographed at in 2026.
The biggest newcomer to Laura and Benny’s most frequent venue will be the award winning Fernhill House Hotel (Clonakilty). Run by the O’Neill family, Michael did comment over the last year or two that “we should be photography wedding there more frequently”. Well Michael’s wish will come through with Laura and Benny returning a whopper 12 times in 2026 & 7 weddings are already booked in for 2027!
Garryvoe (Ballycotton) is back with a bang on our calendar in 2025 and East Cork by the sea is holding firm as a favourite in 2026 & 2027!
Cork’s Vienna Woods (Glanmire) continues on the up and up with fantastic renovations. Dunmore House Hotel (Inchydoney) additionally continues to be a Wedding strong hold.
Other frequently visited venues located in Cork for 2026 will be the likes of: Fota Island Resort (Carrigtwohill), Castlemarthyr Resort (Castlemarthyr), Kinsale Hotel & Actons Hotel (Kinsale). As Wedding Photographers Cork, Laura and Benny photograph throughout the county and will also be at: Hayfield Manor (Cork), Maryborough Hotel (Douglas), , Springfort Hall Hotel (Mallow), and many more familiar names.
For 2027, Cork weddings are tumbling in. As of November 2025, 50% of dates for 2027 are snapped up in 7 different Cork wedding locations (with spins back to Inchydoney Hotel & Innishannon House, outside of the regular named venues).
As per our packages we visit all wedding locations prior to your wedding day. This not only allows us to begin the creative process of photographing your wedding day but this reduces unforeseen issues that get thrown our way. Being Wedding Photographers Cork, man made obstacles change as regularly as the Irish weather (4 season a day like!). Dealing with those challenges are all part and parcel of being a professional photographer. We do everything possible to make your day run as smooth as possible.

While we tend to photograph weddings primarily in Cork (Laura’s city of birth), travelling further abreast in Kerry and Waterford is quite common. Limerick and Tipperary in the north of Munster offer great venues. The long drive to Clare tucked in a corner of the mid west of Ireland, likewise offers spectacular wedding photography. Of the Munster Wedding venues, Laura and Benny as Wedding Photographers Kerry will be photographing at 7 Kerry Wedding venues in 2026. Ballygarry Estate Hotel is firmly the jewel of the Kingdom. We visit the world class team in Tralee 7 times. not to be out done Killarney Oaks Hotel with its own magnificent team, is without doubt the best run wedding venue in Killarney. Kerry weddings will include: Great Southern Killarney, Muckross Park Hotel, Ballyseede Castle and many more.
Wedding Photographers Kerry are spoiled for choice. In Killarney alone with a small radius you have Ross Castle, Muckross House, the Abbey, Torc Waterfall, the many scenic lake openings on the Ring of Kerry and not to forget Killarney’s streets and traditional pubs. Kerry is vast and wide, Kenmare to Sneem to Dingle to Tralee it is genuinely the Kingdom of Ireland’s beautiful landscape. Ideal for wedding celebrations and Wedding Photography.

With the Pandemic largely affecting weddings in 2020 and 2021, Laura and Benny were delighted to get acknowledgement for all their work behind the camera lens, photographing smaller COVID weddings. As well as in front of the camera, sharing all their wedding knowledge on audio and video podcasts. Helping people understand the restrictions on weddings. Particularly giving honest, sound advice in one of the most difficult times for wedding couples and wedding suppliers.

Wedding Shows
Laura and Benny will not be attending Shows for the foreseeable future, please enquiry via the website.
Wedding Shows are one of the best ways to immerse yourselves in the world of Wedding planning. You could literally organise an entire Wedding at a large showcase. The fairs have exhibitors from officiants to bands to cake and of course photographers. Whether you want to book the lot or just get some ideas it is recommend attending.
Ireland has great wedding shows. The great thing about shows are that you get to meet your wedding suppliers in person. Vendors matching in many aspects of the products and services provided is down to personality matching. Wedding Photographers will spend the entire day with you at your wedding. As well as finding a photographer who’s style you like, who produces excellent quality photos and much more. It is so important that you like your photographers approach and personality. Your Wedding Photographer will be in your presence a lot. Meeting them at a trade show can help you weigh up that crucial decision.
Wedfest, Páirc Uí Chaoimh
Páirc Uí Chaoimh reins supreme as the best venue for hosting a wedding show. WedFest in held every January and September. The next WedFest is in January 2026, Sunday 18th.
Páirc Uí Chaoimh is Cork’s premier conference centre. The open plan of the middle level new re-developed stadium is perfect for large trade shows. Wedding couples can free walk around the concourse and approach stands of exhibitors at their leisure. The Wedfest has over 100 exhibitors and a dedicated catwalk area for fashion shows and entertainment. The Exhibition is of course oriented towards those having weddings in Cork, Kerry and all the 6 counties in Munster. Many Exhibitors do cover through Ireland so it is well worth asking evening if your wedding is not in Munster.
